Learning a new home

I have never had the pleasure of a proper neighborhood front porch or a wonderfully quiet back screened porch.  Here we have found both.
Nor have I lived somewhere that produced flowers with little effort.

I think this is a type of Hibiscus. I live on Hibiscus Street.

I am on a steep learning curve,
I think we are home once again!

Yes, that is a hibiscus. I don't know about there, but here they are hard to kill

Hibiscus is one of my favorite plants!
It does make me laugh. I tried to grow some in Kansas. A bit difficult to grow in the snow!

Enjoy the rest of the Summer there in DE. We venture down to OC through Rehoboth environs every Oct. Just stay off Rte. 1 if you can until the tourists go home on Labor Day. lolz

Wave as you go south. You will probably be about a mile from my house outside of Dover!
Maybe we should meet up along the way---
at the Fractured Prune!

I didn't know they had a FP near Dover.
How about we meet at "Where Pigs Fly"? I've always wanted to try that place!
